Career Counselling

The Career Counseling and Development Center, Saurashtra University was established in 2006 with the objectives of offering academic and career-related counseling to the students of the Saurashtra Region. It guides students through personal & public counseling in their higher studies and preparation for various competitive examinations. The services provided by the CCDC to the community are with a professional commitment at comparatively lower costs than other private institutes so that the average student can afford them. So far, CCDC has addressed over 78175 students and parents through public counseling and career awareness programs as well as over 2500 in personal counseling. Over 4800 P.G. students on the University Campus are networked to CCDC through e-mail drive. It has also established CCDC Local Cells on 105 College campuses and conduction "Saurashtra University Competitive Examination Awareness Test" (SUCEAT) every year. CCDC has a well-equipped Library with a librarian, over a thousand books and many magazines related to IAS/GPSC and other competitive examinations and a well-furnished reading room. For Training Programs, it has a seminar hall with latest equipments like LCD projectors. computers, laptops, scanner, whiteboards, screens, internet connections, DVD Player, Sound Systems, Audio Visual Room, etc. CCDC has also created an e-mail group where any student can join or get information for any career related inquiry. The Center forwards career related information, articles, tips, employment advertisements and CCDC activities to the members every day.

Full-fledged center with library, seminar hall and internet facility is in the University. Over 78175 students have been benefitted till now. Over 15000 UG students are in connect through an email network. 45 Local Cells all over Saurashtra region. Out these our college is one of them. Dr. Nayan  sonara is conducting career counseling centre. Every year 400 to 500 students take part in career counseling program. The program trains students to face government, non- government as well as grant -in -aid recruitment with confidence.
